At the Board of Directors’ meeting held yesterday, 15 October 2024, Estra S.p.A. accepted the resignation of Alberto Irace as General Manager.
Estra Group wishes to thank Alberto Irace for the work he has done over these months. The strategic action of all of Estra’s governance and the daily commitment of all its employees have contributed to achieving excellent results and a significant performance improvement, with EBITDA up 22% compared to 2023 and net profit improving by 61% compared to the same year, also thanks to a constant increase in investments (+18% compared to the previous year).
Accordingly, Estra would like to point out and highlight that the Strategic Plan’s strategic targets have always been — and will continue to be — central to the day-to-day activities of the Company’s management, which will continue to firmly pursue healthy growth by delivering quality services able to increasingly meet its customers’ needs, in the interest of local communities.
In addition, Estra points out that the General Manager’s delegated powers have now returned to the whole Board of Directors. In its next meeting, to be held in Arezzo on 18 October 2024, the Board of Directors may possibly proceed with granting the aforementioned delegated powers, always in the exclusive interest of Estra, its employees and its community.
The Shareholders’ Meeting of Estra will be called by the end of October.
