Estra Energie has finalised the acquisition from Atac Civitanova S.p.A. of 51% of Gas Marca S.r.l., a natural gas and electricity sales company based in Civitanova Marche, bringing its interest to 100%.
The consideration for the sale is approximately €6.7 million.
In January 2017, Estra Energie had carried out the acquisition, through a public tender, of a 49% interest in Gas Marca, for a consideration of approximately €5.75 million, in addition to entering into an agreement with Atac Civitanova S.p.A. for the sale of the remaining 51% in the following five years, with an option for the seller to shorten this period.
Gas Marca has a portfolio of approximately 16,000 customers based in the provinces of Macerata and Fermo, and the deal will allow it to continue to grow and consolidate through integration into a leading energy group.
